Onuma Zack Parrish created a phenomenal soundtrack for this game. I place it up with some of the greatest OSTs: Zelda OoT, Super Metroid, Castlevania SotN, Chrono Trigger, and Shovel Knight. He really knocked it out of the park.

As with any good OST, it's great for listening while playing the game or as a standalone product.

wedorg Long ago Zack made a giveaway of codes for this soundtrack on twitter. I luckily got one but as how Bandcamp worked at that time I couldn't redeem it for my collection so I just downloaded it. Short to say that the rocking and melodic tracks gave me the feeling to overcome any obstacle during the game. It made it so enjoyable that I had to repay the debt and buy the soundtrack myself. Favorite track: Blut Durst.

Robert'sRamblings Serene, intense, somber, this soundtrack covers it all. Valdis Story is already one of the best Metroidvanias on PC, and its soundtrack is one of the major reasons why. You owe it to yourself to listen to these tunes. Favorite track: The Ocean.
